Hi, I’m Jake.

I’m a creative strategist, producer, and brand and organizational consultant based on Vancouver Island.

For more than 20 years, I’ve worked across television, film, live performance, branded content, and education, both behind the camera and in front of an audience. That range of experience taught me something important: the strongest creative work rarely begins with the camera. It begins by understanding what matters, who needs to care, and what makes the story worth telling.

Today, I help businesses, organizations, entrepreneurs, and artists move from a collection of ideas to a clearer sense of direction, and then turn that direction into communication that connects.

My approach is simple:

We begin by looking honestly at what’s already there. We make room to explore the possibilities, find the ideas worth pursuing, build a thoughtful plan, and create work that feels true to you and meaningful to the people you want to reach.

Sometimes that means clarifying a brand or message. Sometimes it becomes a campaign, film, photography, content, coaching, facilitation, or ongoing creative support. The medium follows the idea, not the other way around.

• Helped Great Canadian Mortgage Co. grow from zero to more than 5,500 followers and 12 million views in eight months.

• Produced creative campaigns and content for The Keg, TELUS STORYHIVE, organizations, and independent artists.

• Supported actors, professionals, and leaders in becoming more confident and connected onstage, on camera, and in front of an audience.

What drives me is the moment when something clicks, when a complicated idea becomes clearer, the right direction begins to emerge, and people can see what to do next.
